How we worked
From problem to solution
The Challenge
What needed to change
The product needed to support many listing types with different attributes, a full booking lifecycle from request to return, bundle rentals from the same owner, map based location picking, and role specific dashboards for renters and owners, all with type safe APIs and secure authentication.
Our Approach
How we solved it
We built a Turborepo monorepo with a Next.js consumer app and admin panel, Drizzle ORM on Postgres, Better Auth for sessions, tRPC for end to end type safety, Cloudinary/R2 for media, and a complete booking and payment proof workflow.
RentEach is a Philippine peer to peer rental marketplace where owners list cars, equipment, studios, houses, clothes, and event gear, and renters discover, book, and pay through a unified platform.
